Philosophy

In order to establish a safe and nurturing school climate, the administrators, teachers, and staff of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Educational Complex will be concerned with each child as an individual. We will help your child feel good about him/herself by providing them with developmentally appropriate tasks so that he/she will succeed. We are concerned with the total development of each student and, therefore, will provide activities which foster self-direction, self motivation and self-evaluation.
